For more information about placing an order, sending your photos and store policies, please review the following information links (the links will open in a new window so you may continue shopping):
Photo Specs and Requirements Your photos sent to us must be in the original size and unedited. Please do not resize, crop or edit your photo in anyway whatsoever, we will do all that for you.We ask that you do this to ensure the best quality design for your custom photo birth announcement or photo invitation. When using a digital camera, set your camera to the highest resolution. We recommend that all photos be at least 1600x1200 pixels. Please refer to your camera's owners manual if you are not sure how to change the resolution. For tips on taking great photos of your baby, please read our article "Tips For Photographing Your Baby"Scanned photos be a minimum of 300 dpi (dots per inch). Most scanners are set to the default of 150 dpi, please check your user manual to change the dpi if you are unsure of how to do this. Do not send in scanned images that are less than 300 dpi, as they will not print well. All images must be saved and sent in jpg. format. Please send in no more than 8 photos and make sure that you specify the images you prefer. We will then work with the images and send a proof over to you. Professionally taken photographs must be accompanied by a copyright release signed by the photographer/photography studio. We will not work with any professional photographs without this due to copyright laws.

Below are samples of photo edits that can be applied to your pictures by the designer at Alley and Company:

When placing your order, if you would like any one of these options applied to your picture, please make a note in the comments box. IE: "Please apply the sepia option to my photo" or "Please send proofs with both soft glow and black and white option" etc. If you would not like any edit options, just leave blank. We will always edit your photo to fix any blemishes, adjust lighting, color etc. if needed. Please keep in mind that the quality of the photo you send to us is very important. Photos that are blurry, grainy, very low resolution cannot be repaired and will not print well on your photo card. But we will do everything we possibly can to make your photo beautiful. If you are unsure about the quality of your photo, feel free to send us a copy and we will let you know if it will work with the photo card or if you will need to choose another photo.
